What is the difference between anxiety and fear? I literally did not know what anxiety was until someone gave it a name, and I realized that it is something I had been experiencing (unnamed) for the large part of my life. What causes anxiety in us? For me it's when I feel out of balance, or out of whack. If what I feel that I'm meant to be doing that day, is over run by something I don't want to do. Or if I'm going into a situation where don't know what to expect. Or if I have to make a phone call to a person in power/decision maker. What is it for you? I think of anxiety as a negative thing, something I want gone so that I can feel peaceful. But are there times when it can be beneficial? Sometimes I can use my anxiety (which I experience as pain, and overwhelm) as a marker for something I shouldn't be doing. What about y'all? #anxiety #fear #mentalhealth #balance
